When people hear about "MAGIC" in the minds of people in general appear directly "trick". Indeed
it is true but the result as if that magic without any "tricks"
will not be any magic that is possible to do. For magicians,
tricks are considered to be the most important thing. Generally a new magician who may have entered into the world of magic
prefer the "tricks" rather than the essence of Magic itself.For
me "Magic is not only all about the trick but it's all about the M, A,
G, I, C. Moment, Art, Giving, Involving, and Chemistry".
- MOMENT : When is the right time to do a magic.
- ART : Art that we create when playing magic. So it is not solely due to play a magic trick.
- GIVING : Playing magic is not for ourselves or to be considered as a great man but for "giving" or to give as well as to give the impression to the people whom we need to play magic.
- INVOLVING : How to get people to get involved and feel the effects of the magic that we play.
- CHEMISTRY : Creating attractive forces psyche or "soul" as the reaction of a relationship of verbal and non-verbal communication between the magician and the audience.
Many understandings of magic that can not be conceptualized. Because it will
giving rise to a lot of perceptions about the types of magic. Though the types of magic also comes from the magic itself is the M, A, G, I, C :
- Mind ability and intelligence type : Mentalism, Hypnosis, Psychokinetic, Mathemagic, Rubic solving, etc.
- Art of skill type : manipulative and stage act, Comedy, Ventriloquist, Fluorish, Pickpocket, Close up, Juggling, Balloon twisting.
- Ghosty type : Bizzare, Seance.
- Ilussion type : Appearing (production), disappearing (vanishing), restoration, penetration, transformation, levitation, and teleportation effect.
- Challenge type : Russian roullete, Endurance Publicity Stunt, Fakir, Escapology.
Now many are asking how to make MAGIC. Because the magician is always expected to provide new surprises for the audience. Making MAGIC method is the same as the scientific method. Do not think only a scientists who only had the scientific method. Making magic was also had the scientific method is the M, A, G, I, C :
- Make effect concept (based on the types of magic)
- Arrange routine backward concept of the effect step by step
- Going trial and simulating
- Improvisation
- Create the props.
So what if you already know about the concepts ? What next ? Do you have felt ready to become a magician ?. Wait a minute. Now you must have a capital base in yourself as a magician and how to publicize yourself with your magic. Here is the concept. Capital base to become a magician is the M, A, G, I, C, I, A, N :
- Money : It can not be denied that to perform as a magician you have to have capital money because you may have to make a costume, or maybe buying a tool, make your own tools, and so forth. Customize with your own ability. Do not buy things that does not really matter. There still could be saving a right way. For example : if you can make your own costume, why should buy, or maybe if you can find the source material for magic in the internet, why you have to buy (not everyone remember the tricks that you're browsing, so why fear). But somehow the money is not everything but to do everything definitely need the money.
- Abilities : In addition to your financial capital should have appropriate skills required in your magic. To have the ability inevitably you have to "practice" continues to fit the genre of magic you want to do.
- Good mentality : This is very important. Do not let you perform magic but when you lose mental ahead with your audience. Since this is your show therefore you must mentally prepare as a magician.
- Intelligence : Magician must be smart. If you do not want to be smart, do not try to be a magician as a creator to make art, surprise, make routine, make patter, and others which require intelligence. You must fullfill your knowledge by reading (not only about magic), browsing, schooling, colleging, and others.
- Creative : Magician must always be creative. If not then you will not thrive. While the magician is required to always be creative.
- Innovative : Magician expected to always create new things in magic.
- Active : You should always be active in your daily activities. Whatever your activities. Since only the active energy in you will come out by itself so many inspirations that will appear in your self.
- Never give up : Whatever the situation is try to remain consistent whether it produces or not. Do not worry. God did not remain silent. Fortune is not going anywhere. If you do just for a hobby it will be easier because just for pleasure. You can perform continuously anytime without feel have to make a living from magic. Strengthen your community for mutual support.
Well, now the ways to actualize yourself or publish yourself that you are a magician. Only with M-A-G-I-C as well.Some things you might do:
- Media Publishing and Positioning : Enter your self through media such as a television, newspapers, magazines, etc. or an easier way like through the internet publications such as youtube, blog, and others. Then think, how to make public know that you are a magician so when people mention your name, it means that you are the magician who they meant. That is positioning.
- Anytime anywhere anyplace from anyone to anyone : Play magic wherever you can. So that people will know that you are a magician. Information about you will spread by mouth to mouth.
- Group activities : Joining organizations or communities (not always community or organization in magic). So that your relationships will grow and maybe some of them will invite you to their event.
- Identity : Creating a business cards, video profile, albums, etc that can be spread to anyone so that they can know your activities as a magician.
- Corporating : Creating a work team or perhaps cooperation with other parties.
And now here is several ways for you more quickly known as the magician :
DO NOT PLAY THE TRICK ON THE MARKET OR MAGIC SHOP (especially aired already on TV)
If you play the magic on general sale or sold clandestinely and others, what's the difference between you and the people who buy the same tool. There is nothing special for those of you who have the tools because there are others too had the same stuff. World of magic today's leak very fast. So if you buy now at a great price, one time a lot of the same stuff will be produced and the price are much cheaper. So think again if you want to buy.
And if you play a magic that has been played by other magicians on television then you are lifting the prestige of that magician on television. And you may be considered as a trend follower. You have purchased the tool, is considered a follower anyway and even create prestige magician who played the magic more up because many are out there playing his magic. Focus on making your own creations.
DON'T DO LIKE OTHERS
World of magic is need of a new innovations and value the art of magic itself when we can show them a new one. Whether it's a new game and a new concept.

Just by making your own magic then you will be quickly recognized by many people because of the uniqueness of the work you show with your own magic.
